We are a specialized marine retailer based in Kaatsheuvel, Netherlands, focused exclusively on outboard motors, inboard engines, marine generators, and boat parts. We supply new and pre-owned engines from leading brands including Yamaha, Mercury, Suzuki, Honda, and Evinrude to customers across the EU and worldwide.

Yes. We are an authorized reseller and work directly with official European distributors and manufacturers. Every new engine we sell comes with a full manufacturer warranty registered in Europe.

Yes. Our showroom and workshop are located at Jan de Rooijstraat 51, 5171 DR Kaatsheuvel, The Netherlands. We welcome visitors by appointment for private viewings, engine testing, and trade-in appraisals.

Both. We offer brand-new engines with full manufacturer warranty, certified pre-owned / refurbished engines with our 6-month seller warranty, and used engines sold as-described with 30-day major-mechanical coverage.

Yes. If you are looking for a specific model, horsepower, or configuration not currently listed, contact us. We can special-order directly from the manufacturer with a typical lead time of 2–8 weeks depending on brand and season.

Yes. All new outboard motors we sell comply with EU Stage V emissions regulations and carry the required CE marking for legal use within the European Union.

Yes. All modern outboard motors are designed for both freshwater and saltwater operation. We strongly recommend regular flushing after saltwater use and the use of sacrificial anodes (which we stock) to prevent corrosion.

Yes. Our website uses SSL encryption and our payment processors are PCI-DSS compliant. We never store your full credit card details.

• EU Customers: Prices include 21% Dutch VAT (BTW). VAT-registered businesses in the EU can provide their VAT number for reverse-charge or invoice VAT deduction.
• Non-EU Customers: Prices are typically quoted excluding VAT. Import duties and local taxes are the responsibility of the recipient.

Yes. We provide formal, signed quotations for all orders upon request. This is especially useful for business purchases, insurance claims, or grant applications.

We ship throughout the European Union, United Kingdom, Norway, Switzerland, and worldwide. Delivery options and costs are calculated at checkout based on your location and the size/weight of the engine.

Custom or special-order items may require additional lead time.

• Free shipping on all orders over €500 within the EU
• For orders below €500 or outside the EU, shipping is calculated at checkout based on weight, dimensions, and destination
• You will see the exact cost before you complete payment — no hidden fees

Engines are shipped on pallets via freight carriers (DHL Freight, FedEx Freight, or specialized marine logistics). Smaller parts and accessories ship via standard parcel service. All shipments are insured and include tracking.

• EU deliveries: No customs duties or import taxes
• Non-EU deliveries: The recipient is responsible for all import duties, customs fees, and local taxes. These are not included in our price or shipping cost.

Yes. You are welcome to collect your engine from our facility in Kaatsheuvel, Netherlands by appointment. We can also assist with loading and basic rigging advice.

You have 30 calendar days from the date of delivery to request a return. Items must be unused, uninstalled, and in original packaging with all accessories and manuals. See our full Shipping & Returns page for details.

Pre-owned engines sold as-described can be returned within 30 days only if they are unused and in the same condition as received. Engines that have been installed, run, or damaged are not eligible for return unless defective.

Once we receive and inspect your returned item, refunds are processed within 14 calendar days to your original payment method.

• Customer remorse: You pay return shipping
• Defective / incorrect item: We pay return shipping and provide a prepaid label

• New engines: Full manufacturer warranty (2–5 years depending on brand and model)
• Certified pre-owned: 6-month Regal Boats Marine B.V. seller warranty
• Used engines: 30-day major-mechanical warranty

All EU customers also retain a 2-year statutory legal guarantee regardless of manufacturer warranty. See our Warranty page for full details.

Contact us immediately at sales@regalboatsmarinebv.nl or +31 970 050 30680 within 48 hours of delivery. Take clear photographs of the packaging and damage. We will file a claim with the carrier and arrange a replacement or repair at no cost to you.

Manufacturer warranties are honored at any authorized service center for that brand across Europe. We can help you locate the nearest authorized dealer or, for our seller warranty, you can return the engine to our workshop in Kaatsheuvel.

Yes. Our workshop provides routine maintenance, winterization, engine overhauls, and diagnostics for all major outboard and inboard brands. Contact us to book a service appointment.

Yes. We offer private installment plans, business leases, and deferred payment options through trusted European financing partners. Terms range from 12 to 84 months. See our Financing Options page.

Absolutely. We accept trade-ins of all major brands in working or non-working condition. We provide an instant appraisal based on photos/videos or an in-person inspection at our showroom. The trade-in value is applied directly to your new purchase or financing agreement.

Yes. Financing is available for orders starting at €1,500 for private customers and €5,000 for business leases.

We do not perform installations directly, but we work with a network of certified marine mechanics and rigging specialists across the Netherlands, Belgium, and Germany. We can recommend an installer in your area.

Engine size depends on your boat's weight, length, hull type, and intended use. As a general rule:

• Small dinghies / tenders (up to 3m): 2.5–6 HP
• Fishing boats / RIBs (3–5m): 8–30 HP
• Family cruisers / day boats (5–7m): 40–115 HP
• Larger cruisers / offshore boats (7m+): 150–300+ HP

Modern 4-stroke engines are the industry standard. They offer better fuel efficiency, lower emissions, quieter operation, and easier maintenance. 2-stroke engines are lighter and simpler but are largely being phased out due to emissions regulations. We primarily stock 4-stroke models.

Yes. We stock a wide range of remote controls, steering systems, wiring harnesses, propellers, and rigging kits compatible with all major brands. We can help you match the correct accessories to your engine and boat.

Yes, we ship worldwide. However, please note:

• Manufacturer warranties issued by European subsidiaries may not be valid outside the EU
• You will be responsible for import duties, customs clearance, and local taxes
• Electrical systems and fuel requirements may differ by region

Contact us before ordering if you are outside the EU so we can confirm compatibility and warranty coverage.

Our prices are listed in Euro (EUR). If you pay by credit card or PayPal, your bank will convert the amount to your local currency at their exchange rate. We do not currently support multi-currency checkout.

Yes. For non-EU shipments, we provide all necessary commercial invoices, packing lists, and EUR.1 certificates of origin where applicable to facilitate customs clearance.
